MASSACHUSETTS EQUINE PROGRAMS
University of Massachusetts Amherst
is a land grant university located in Amherst, Massachusetts. The University offers a B.S. in Equine Industries. Course work includes Equine Anatomy, Equitation, Managing Your Business, Theories and Methods of Equitation Instruction, Breaking and Training and Equine Stud Farm Management.

Becker College offers a comeptitive Women's
Equestrian Team. The College
sits on 30 acres and features indoor and outdoor arenas with boarding.
Mount Ida College
is located in Newton, Massachusetts, and is featured as a Spotlight School.
Mount Ida College also offers a competitive
Mount Holyoke College
is located in South Hadley, Massachusetts. Mount Holyoke does not offer an equine degree program, but does offer a significant Riding Program. Mount Holyoke Teams compete intercollegiately and have a very impressive record on a National Basis.
The Holyoke equestrian facilities include a 60-stall Barn, two Indoor Arenas, Outdoor Arenas, and two croos-country courses. The College hosts the Riding Team (two National Chamionships), Dressage Team (three National Championships), and is now fields a Western Team.
